Tsunami Survival

Today I am writing about Tsunami survival since we have had a few earthquakes in the last week that led to Tsunami's in the Samoa Islands and Indonesia. These tidal waves are caused by earthquakes deep below the ocean. Waves can reach more than 100 feet in height and travel faster than a jet airplane while reaching vast distances. In the event of an earthquake or tsunami, you should stay away from shores and go to higher ground. Whatever you do, do not go to see or try to take pictures of a tsunami. If you can see it, you are too close and in danger! You can not outrun a tsunami, even in a car, so the best thing is to head inland and wait until it is over. Keep in mind that they sometimes come in a series of waves, so wait after the initial impact for possible others. Come to www.APlusSurvival.com for emergency preparedness and survival gear. We carry Bug-Out-Bags for evacuation situations like these.
